These smooth stones come in a variety of vibrant, milky-pastel shades. Light shimmers beyond their semi-translucent surface, a dance of eons past.

 A tale of sparkling stones

Shaped over millennia by ancient crashing waters, Raw Opels were eventually entombed in earth & debris. Only a few hundred years ago did these sparkling treasures resurface under powerful tectonic forces, leaving several deposits to discover across the continent!

The Opel River in the Altafields is the richest source of these 'Raw Opels' - stones yet to be engraved and enter circulation as currency.

At first, the islet chosen for the Opelworks seemed perfect, but as construction commenced a sense of unease enshadowed the worksite... Increased sightings of an enormous beast haunted the builders' minds, who would be no match for its brilliant speed, armoured body and fierce claws. Despite the pay, some workers fled while others suggested alternate sites, yet the operation pushed forward under Virkifoss's command. ​

The completed domes stood tall and sparkling, detailed with magnificent artistry of local materials, and the site was quickly populated with workers. Alongside the elated celebrations of Kepla's first mint were also surprising insights about Mosmire's great 'Opel Droevyn'...
